The Bishops trailed 18-13 early in the first quarter, but soon tied the score 20-20 when the big Fishburne team's offense was unable to get rolling . Fishburne stretched the lead to 38 to 29 at the half. Eakin, the forward for F. M. A., popped in 24 points to lead the scoring. Craighill and Skit Davidson were the high scorers for V. E. S. with 20 and I0 points respectively. Fishburne poured it on in the last half and when the gun sounded, the final score was 76-51.
Shanklin and Ross cleared the boards
for V. E. S. All of A. M. A.'s goals
were scored by three people as they
were unable to shake the guards
loose for shots. This represented the
fifth win for the Bishops this season.

V. E. S. BREEZES BY A. M.A. 75-55 IN MIDWINTERS TILT
Seemingly inspired by the large
crowd of visiting girls, the Bishops
hit 52"/ of their shots to run away 0
from a hard-pressed A. M. A. group 75-55 on their home court.
Led by Frank Craighill, who poured
in 30 points, and George Ross, who
had 16, including eight for eight
from the floor, the Bishops built up
a 34-21 lead at half-time. Coach
Lee cleared the bench as his boys
could do little wrong in the contest.
FISHBURNE TOPS BISHOPS 76-51
The Bishops, even though they put a defensive around Link, Fishburne's big scorer, were still unable to beat the taller Fishburne team as they lost 76-51 on F. M. A.'s home court.
FORK UNION OUTCLASSES V. E. S.
V. E. S. matched Fork Union point for point in the first quarter, then the big military school turned loose its big guns and smothered V. E. S. under a barrage of baskets to win 78-37 at Fork Union.
Bev Vaughan pumped in 25 points to lead the assault. George Ross was the high scorer for the Bishops with
13 points. Playing without Craighi ll , the Bishops found that three of the Fork Union starting five were ta ller than the Bishop's center. The Bishops are waiting eagerly for a return en- gagement.
