Mr. Boney went to New York and picked up several new tips about teaching and some breathing. He then traveled
through Northern New England, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. He also made acquain-
tances with the Fosters in Maine, and the Smiths in Rhode Is- land.
Mr. McCormick enjoyed him- self watching "unrated" Euro- pean films at Lynchburg College for three weeks. Some, Mr. Mc- Cormick says, are not suitable for weekend viewing in the Lec-
ture Hall."
Mr. Mundy spent three weeks hiking and canoeing his way through Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Canada. He says early foot- ball was great.
Mr. Evans completed his first summer of Master of Arts in Liberal studies at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
Mrs. Berry and family visited her parents in Illinois for a month.
Mrs. Dymond stayed in Lynch- burg as Assistant Music Direc- tor for the Fine Arts Center's production of "Peter Pan." She also played the organ and was a soloist for various local churches.
Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer spent
their whole summer traveling. One trip to England, France and Switzerland: another to Seat- tle, Victoria, and Vancouver kept them busy.
Mr. Douglas worked on clean- ing up the campus, but
to sneak trips to Nap Head, the Chesapeake Bay and Connecticut.
Mr. and Mrs. Haekett spent the summer in Vermont apia. Mr. Haekett "loves dumb trout and thoughtful, lovillg

Mr. Arnold ran the first V.E.S.

computer camp, and then pro- ceded to camp out at Cape Cod.
Rock Lee fought off cool ocean breezes in Kitty Hawk, N.C. and watched Detroit beat Baltimore
9-0, 9-4.
Mr. Bailey packed, waited, moved, prayed and got ready for
football.
Mr. McLaughlin had another great summer at Camp Max- welton and Camp Lachlan.
The Smiths had a great sum- mer in Newport, R.I. They spent seven weeks at the beach, re-
turned in time for 100 degree plus weather ahd saw the Red Sox lose to California 9-3.
Mr. O'Brien worked at Camp Summerwheels in Holbrook, Mass.
The Eades enjoyed them- selves in California and Atlanta this summer. In particular, Mr. Eade tried to chase Snow White all over Dianeyland while Mrs. Eade tried to be a "Valley Girl."
