LOWER SCHOOL EXPANSION
$2.8 MILLION
Investing in the next generation is a mission we take very
seriously at Hebron Christian Academy. In our pursuit of
fulfilling this mission, we quickly realized that our beautiful,
brand new Lower School was just not big enough to
accommodate God’s growing blessings. This recognition
prompted us to begin the process of adding eight new classrooms, an expanded cafeteria to
accommodate an additional one hundred students, and an imagination-inducing new playground.
Strategically this will allow us to offer four sections in each grade. Our class sizes will remain small,
our loving educators will continue to prepare our students for big futures, and we will continue to
prepare for the blessings God is providing. The estimated completion date for this project is
August 1, 2021.
STEM & ENRICHMENT RENOVATION
$500,000 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is far more
than merely cool electives. This project-based, highly applicable
method of instruction completely changes our philosophy of
education at HCA. We want our students to learn by doing. We
want them to learn through an overwhelming desire for personal
discovery. These exciting programs will take place by renovating
our current Upper School Media Center. Our Media Center will
become the hub for all things STEM. Our students will have the
opportunity to learn coding, maker space design skills,
engineering principles, and advanced science concepts, all while
applying this learning to the real world.
Our second renovation project is our Hebron Enrichment Center
which will be located in what is currently our Business offices.
This expansion to “Student Services” will provide more
opportunity for our students who might struggle in an academic
area to learn and succeed, or this program can help provide
additional assistance to help students with the tools to overcome
educational gaps in previous learning. This encouraging and
inviting environment will be a major benefit for all students
needing that extra boost to push their learning to the next level.
The project completion date is entirely contingent upon generous
donors and successful grant writing, but we are praying to have
this facility operational during the 2021/2022 school year. Our
God-Sized prayers are for a donor to step forward so we can
complete this project in the summer of 2021. We know…that’s a
God-Sized prayer!
