that allows our students in every grade to learn about, embrace, and contribute to their local communities, and that broadens and deepens our students’ understanding of our city, its people, and the work being pursued to solve local problems, alleviate inequities, and create lasting progress.
Create a civics curriculum that strengthens
our students’ awareness of what it means
to be a citizen of St. Albans, of the Cathedral Close, of Washington, D.C., of our nation, and of the globe to help our students develop the social, emotional, and intellectual skills to be thoughtful and engaged citizens and leaders.
