Class of 2018 Alumnae Inductions
The Class of 2018, along with their families, CJ student body and faculty and staff, celebrated as they became the newest members of the
alumnae community at the annual Alumnae Induction ceremony and breakfast on May 4. Presenting the seniors with the traditional “Sacred
Heart” pin were CJ Advisory Board member and class rep, Maureen Clancy-May ’75 and class rep Kelly Neyer Eves ’02.
“I know that every member of our class is ready to go out and share the love of the heart of Christ with everyone we encounter,” stated
student Induction speaker Nicole Beard ’18. “I have complete faith that we have all developed into morally strong and empowered women,
and although this chapter of our lives may be closing, I know that each and every member of the Cor Jesu Academy class of 2018 is going to
change the world for good.”
“During our induction, I don’t think the meaning struck me until I saw all the alumnae stand with us to sing the alma mater,” said Victoria
Wittgen ’18. “I’m now part of a powerful group of women, and I will always be part of Cor Jesu.”
We congratulate the class of 2018 and “will not forget their spirit true.”
