alumnae association events

               St. Patrick Center Alumnae Night

The Alumnae Service/Community Outreach Committee, a facet of the Class Rep Program, hosted an evening at St. Patrick Center on Tues-
day, April 10, 2018. CJ alumnae had the opportunity to purchase, prepare, serve and share a meal with the female residents.
“There were alumnae who were unable to attend the event but still purchased items for the meal and dropped them off at school,” stated
Patty Ferrara CJ Director of Alumnae Relations. “It was a great outpouring of support from our alumnae, and a such a unique chance for us as
an association to give back to the community in such a faith-filled and spirited way.”
“I was so honored to have alumnae from Cor Jesu serve dinner to our Women’s Night Program clients,” said St. Patrick Center CEO Laurie
Hunsicker Phillips ’88. “The women we serve are in need of so much, and were blessed to receive both physical and spiritual nourishment
from their time with my CJA ‘sisters’. Being together at St. Patrick Center shows me once again the impact of Cor Jesu in our community.”

               Alumnae Night at the Musical

The award-winning Broadway hit, Hello, Dolly!, hit the CJ stage on Wednesday, April 11, for the annual Alumnae Night at the Musical. Over 75
CJ alumnae and their family and friends attended a reception held in the library before settling in their seats for the production of this ever-
popular musical, which went on to be nominated for seven St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards, with Maggie Kuntz ’18, receiving
the award for “Outstanding Lead Actress” for her role as Dolly Levi!
“It was so fun to go back to CJ and see the show this year with my best friend, Laura Colombo Eggering ’07,” said Molly Karcher Flynn ‘07.
“We met as freshmen chorus girls in Irene in 2003 and did the musicals together all four years. Seeing the show together brought back so
many special memories that I think we’ll make this an annual tradition.”
In addition to the Outstanding Lead Actress award, Cor Jesu won the following 2018 St. Louis High School Theatre Awards: Outstanding
Ensemble, Outstanding Musical Direction, Outstanding Technical Execution, Outstanding Musical.
On behalf of the cast and crew of this year’s musical, we thank you for your continued support of the arts program here at Cor Jesu!
