Freshmen Welcome

Freshmen Welcome Week! A tradition that has been around since the very
beginning of this school. From baking cookies to singing a parody to a
song every day at lunch, to dabbing in the halls, this week is truly ev-
ery-changing and a unique addition to CJ.

This fun tradition was a hit this year,
although a little dramatic, still fun. Multiple
Freshmen had some comments on their
experience of Freshmen Welcome Week. We
asked them “What did you think about
this week?” Here are some of the
responses we got:
“Freshmen welcome week I thought was a
fun way of being able to talk a bit to the
seniors, and honestly the seniors were super
nice. They were willing to talk to you during
your study hall or smiling under masks (of
course) at each other” (Anonymous).
“I thought it was really funny that very first
period on Monday, when everyone was
sitting in the library, (because we had a
break between homeroom and our first
class) all the seniors were running around
