9.21 The Wall 2.0: 9.29: Off Book:
There’s nothing like the stress
Huzzah! We finally decided what
to paint on the wall...a big of being off book (or having to
have your lines memorized),
decision. Now, all we have to do couldn’t be me though. I get to
is paint and move the set pieces sit in the audience and shout
in, and then...boom! Show! I out lines that actors forget. I
suppose we need actors, am quite surprised that the
costumes, sound, lights, and all
that jazz, but I’m starting to actors are memorized. Only a
feel how real this is. It’s select few are excused from this
happening! due to specific circumstances,
but their time will come.
10.1 A Ton of Bricks:
Nap time is quite common in the Little Theater…
Nothing like a First Friday to give
you a crisis on how quickly your
show is coming up. We had an
unofficial rehearsal to catch up,
and let’s just say, maybe it’s a
good thing I’m assistant directing
and not acting. When Ken and Don
hauled our fireplace down, it hit
me that we need to finish painting,
Sarah Richars ‘23 and costumes, and lights, and
sound, and props, and the couch… oh
God what have I got myself into.
