64 THE lli:TEOR
January 3, 1923, work came back to her own with a jolt! There were the usual stories of sleepless nights and stalking by music until the proper hours of 5 or 6 A. :U.; something like Washington Irving's highly imaginary Christmas with the Bracebridges-H?
We were sorry to miss Clark, Tumbull, 0. Price and Brightbill on our retum. Their place has been filled, though imperfectly as yet, by Miller, Stronach, Beheler, Felts, Phil- lips and Patteson.
We have heard it hinted that one of our "Long Math Sharks" is thinking of eloping.
An informal dance was held in the gymnasium January 13th. Everyone enjoyed it immensely. .(
The G. A. A. has made the following appointments: H. Forsyth, manager of track, and E. E>ans as assistant; Sud- duth and L. Smith, assistant managers of baseball.
Thursday, 22nd, there was the annual snowfigbt. The new boys were routed, as usual. The number of occupants m the infirmary notably increased afterwards.
Mr. Gwathmey "blew in" the night of the 26th. But, as he is accustomed, he ''blew out" quite as quickly.
Saturday, 27th, "The Joan DamĀ·ers" was played again, this time at the Little Theater. The performance was even better than the one at school and e>eryone in the cast ac- quitted himself with remarkable ability. Because of this second production, the three one-act plays, "The Workhouse Ward", "Pyramus and Thisbe" and" A Night at an Inn", will be postponed until after the Eas.ter holidays.
