Let's Clean Up
"Cleanliness is next to Godliness" -this old proverb still holds true to- day. About the dorms and especially
in study hall one often finds bits of paper, old newspapers, and books ly- ing on the floors. The blame for this messy appearance lies wholly on the shoulders of each student. Careless individuals have at one time or an- other thrown the trash where it is. If every student would take it upon him- self to put all of his own waste paper in the trash cans, the school would quickly assume a much neater ap- pearance.
Those individuals who continue to throw other people's books and who continue to litter up the floors can be easily singled out. These charac- ters who reflect bad home training, could then be dealt with. They cer- tainly lack school spirit and self-pride.
When, and only when, these meas- ures are carried out by each boy, the campus and the school as a whole will present a much better appear- ance.
