Name: Edgar Miller Baber, (Abe).
Home: Lynchburg, Va.
Ambition: To make a hole in one. Usually seen: At the club.
Ned Baber, better known as "Abe" to all his intimate friends, is working on his fourth year here. Everyone
knows his home is on the golf course, but neverth eless, he insists he was born in Lynchburg, and still claims it. In fact, he is a day student so he can get back to the club as much as possible and still stay out here enough to learn something. All this practice has rewarded him though, for he has been a valuable asset to the golf team. Last year he was our number three man and he is expected to do even better this year.
Ned, one of the better-dressed boys, is very well liked and is one of the smarter cookies here. He gets stu dy-out regularly and with senior subjects, that's a job. "Abe" gave up J.V . basketball fo r horseback riding and "A.M." during the winter season. He thinks he will join "Rope" and
"Soggy" at W. and L. next fall. Wherever he plans to go we know he will be a success and wish him the best of luck.

Gerry walked on our sunny campus for the first time a little over two years ago. In a little over two months he will walk off, a graduate of V.E.S. In those two years he has made him- self an honor student with grades consistently in the high 80's and low 90's. He will be remembered, not only for his grades and good conduct, but for his ever-present wit that has made him one of the most pleasant boys of the senior class. "Trickle" can always be found at either the club, school store, or of course with his steady.
Along with being one of the best- dressed boys in school, Gerry is also a waiter. "Trickle" started to take up basketboll but he found nothing compared to sporting around in a flashy converti ble watching the wom- en. (We all agree with him).
Gerry hasn't decided which insti- tution he will attend next fall but judging from his past, it's easy to predict that he will be an immediate success, regardless of his choice. Good luck!
