Fighting a losing game from the first period, the Bishops overcame their usual "third quarter jinx' to come within 4 points of the Sainh from Richmond before St. Christo- pher's poured it on in the last period to win 58-44.
The Bishops couldn't seem to find the basket in the first half and {ell behind 2 1-12. In the third period, V.E.S. switched to a fast-break style of attack and outscored the visitors 21-19. Throughout the game, Hall, the scrappy St. Christopher's guard, clung to Frank Craighill like a leach and wouldn't allow him to get any good shots. Frank Craighill was still high scorer for the Bishops with 12, and George Ross and Jim Shanklin
