George has done quite a lot in his two years at V.E.S. His first fall here, he ran cross-country and then re- turned the following fall to be a co- captain of the new varsity sport. In the winters, George plays basketball. Last year, he was a J.V. starter and this season he worked out constantly
with the varsity team.

"Robot" plays his favorite sport, golf Last year he played number four and moved up this year to the number two slot.
But athletics is only a half of George's life. He is Sports Editor of the Meteor and the Editor-in-Chief of the "Vestige.'' He is the Head
Counselor and on the Honor Commit- tee. George's greatast accomplisn- rnent and honor has been the winning of the Morehead Scholarship. Tnis fall George goes wit h nine other boys to UNC and will undoubtedly be as successful and well liked there as ne is here.

Favorite pastime: Downing with Tea- gue.
Shot is one of the few two year boys that established himself at V.E.S. right away. Small but with a deadly jumpshot, Forbes has played varsity basketball for the past two years. In the spring, he h<3lps Croxson out with the tennis team and shoots a few baskets when he isn't needed elsewhere .
With his sharp wit and easy smile, he makes a bull session quite an hilari- ous party. By his true southern charm, he is known to many of the gals in Lynchburg and Raleigh.

In his two years here at V.E.S. Jete has made quite a name for himself while pushing forward for the school. He is a member of the Honor Com- mittee, on the vestry, and is Secre- tary-Treasurer of the Senior Class.
The first President of the Quorum Club, Jete is Assistant Editor of the "Vestige" and Editor of the Meteor for which he has become a member of the Quill and Scroll.
When not hounding people for late Meteor articles Jovial Jete can be found in the G.A.A. working on foot- ball or baseball. For his strong sup- port of athletics Jete was selected Secretary of the Varsity Club.
Though sometimes discouraged, Jete has fought on and will surely be a success at Wake Forest next year.
