New 2017 Auction Venue
Grand Hall on Chouteau • Saturday, February 4, 2017
No matter how long a tradition has been around, there is always room for firsts! And
2017 is no exception! Because of the new gym and commons construction, Cor Jesu is
moving the 38 Annual Treasures of the Heart Auction off-site this school year to The
th
Grand Hall on Chouteau.
The venue, owned by Russo’s Catering and located at 2319 Chouteau Avenue in St.
Louis City, features a LEED-certified banquet room and state-of-the-art technology that
will allow CJ to experience another “first” – easy-to-use mobile bidding! No more physical moving from one booth to the next to check
on your bids – now you will be able to keep tabs on all your bidding directly from your smartphone or electronic tablet, such as an iPad,
Microsoft Surface, etc. But if you don’t have a mobile device, no need to worry – Cor Jesu will provide a limited number of devices avail-
able the night of the auction.
Spearheading CJ’s largest fund-raising event on February 4, 2017, are Auction Chairs Dave and Maria Thro Herdlick ’86 and Cochairs
Steve and Sandy Hughes and Norm and Connie Lambert.
“We are really excited to be able to continue CJ’s auction tradition this year at a place that allows us to work around the construction,”
said Director of Special Events Shelley Fendler. “I think our guests will be very pleased with the venue and the mobile bidding. We’re really
excited with all the amenities at Grand Hall and how equipped they are to make the auction a great evening.”
For sponsorship or donation information, visit www.corjesu.org/auction or contact Special Events Coordinator Shelley Fendler at
sfendler@corjesu.org or 314.842.4429, ext. 272. We look forward to seeing you on February 4, 2017!
