Cor Jesu is blessed and grateful to have seven ASCJs on
staff as administrators and faculty members, many of
whom are also CJ alumnae! Pictured below from left to

Provincial Council Have CJ Ties
2016 Field Hockey Chargers: 2nd in State! This past September, after U.S. Provincial Superior Sr.
Anne Walsh, ASCJ was named to the General Council in
Rome, the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus named
her successor, along with the new Provincial Council.
And a few of those Sisters might look familiar! Serving
as the new U.S. Provincial Superior is former CJ principal
Sr. Ritamary Schulz, ASCJ (who served as CJ’s principal
from 1984-2000 and is pictured in the center of the
photo below); former CJ teachers, Provincial Vicaress/
Councilor Sr. Virginia Herbers, ASCJ ’89, (far right –
taught at CJ from 1998-2003, 2007-08 and 2012-14)
and Councilor Sr. Mariette Moan, ASCJ (second from
right – taught French at CJ in the 1980s); and Councilor
Sr. Veronica Beato, ASCJ ’74, CJ’s first alumna principal
(third from right). Also pictured from left to right are
Provincial Treasurer Sr. Mary Lee, ASCJ; Provincial
