Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson

Once finishing Leigh Bardugo’s novels in the Grishaverse,
trying to find a new series that lives up to those same stan-
dards is difficult. Dance of Thieves, however, is the excep-
tion. These novels follow Kazi of Brightmist and Jace Ballen-

chapters. Kazi is a soldier while Jace is the new leader of his
land, and as their paths cross, similar themes to Shadow and
Bone come to light. The same found family tropes and com-
plex storylines make sure that fans of Shadow and Bone can
find a new favorite series. However, these books are vastly
different in their writing styles and plotlines, making sure to
                                                   keep readers interested.

Death on the Nile, directed by Kenneth
                                                   Branaugh

Death on the Nile, an adaptation of a classic Agatha Chris-
tie murder mystery novel, had high expectations to live up
to. However, with beautiful cinematography and a likeable,
complex cast of characters, this movie does not disappoint.
The story plays out on a gradiose cruise ship, where a series
of murders takes place during a honeymoon celebration. The
main detective, Hercule Poirot, makes the movie memorable
with both his skill and his peculiar nature. Fans of Knives Out
can find the same deep dive into each suspect in Death on
the Nile, but this time with a series of victims that leaves the
viewer on the edge of their seat.

and catchy lyrics, and “Sol del Sur” was even featured on the
Outer Banks Netflix show. Lead singer Luke is backed by

currently on a world tour, opening for a larger artist. If Wal-

is the perfect band for them.
