The S. P. S . squash tearn suffe red thro ugh a bad
year. Afte r winning two o f the ir first fo ur
matches, they dro pped the remainin g con test , as
the se a o n dragged o n . But tho ugh a ll of the ir
victo ries we re 3 - 2 win s, the team did 10 e more
than the ir share o f close o nes.
The o nly bright spots o f the seaso n were
Cap ta in Dan Go rdan and Dave Sayward a t nos. I
and 2 with reco rd s of 8 - 5 and 6 - 6 , respect ive ly .

the 6th positi o n to numbe r 2, and did it quite

wa s a speed y compe titor , and he wo rked h is way
up the ladd er to ca ptu re the no . 5 spot fo r the
