b'Bengal7th grade science students planned, prepped, and seeded the garden beds in the Andreve Teaching Garden. This hands-on learning helps students understand the natural world as they study it and develop their skills of inquiry, observation, and exploration.The College Counseling Office hosted a Summer Seminar with nearly 20 seniors participating. Highlights of the program included mock interviews with college admission representatives from Muhlenberg College, University of Georgia, Elon University, University of South Carolina, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Students also participated in essay writing and editing, and practicing their interview skills. The college admission representatives spoke highly of our comprehensive program and how it helps GDS students prepare for the college admission process.14 | Winter 2019'
