Dowler Award recipient.Each year, the Lower School honors a member of the Greensboro Day School community with the Carla D. Dowler Award.This award was established to honor someone who touches Lower School students lives and fits the following criteria: values kindness and sensitivity to others; reflects a determination to succeed; exemplifies a love for learning; and embodies an abiding respect for teaching and being with children.
