As CTO, Dhatt will lead a global engineering team of more than 100 across offices in Austin, San Francisco and Sydney. Dhatt joins BigCommerce from Borderfree, an ecommerce SaaS company acquired by Pitney Bowes, where he led all aspects of product and technology as the company’s chief technology officer through a successful IPO in 2014 and acquisition in 2015. Prior to joining Borderfree in March 2013, he served as vice president of engineering and product for Jetsetter and Gilt City, both under the Gilt Groupe umbrella until Jetsetter’s 2013 acquisition by Tripadvisor. Additionally, Dhatt co-founded global media and technology company POPSUGAR, and previously led technology efforts for leading companies such as BestBuy.com, Restoration Hardware and Estée Lauder. BigCommerce is the fastest growing cloud-based SaaS e-commerce platform for fast- growing brands. BigCommerce powers more than 55,000 stores across more than 150 countries, and expects to hit $14 billion in transactions by the end of 2016. Eric Pickard ’95 with his wife, Amanda David Teague received an Emmy for ‘Best Documentary’ for editing of Cutie and the Boxer, which was shown on PBS’s documentary series, POV. He has also been invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as one of a group of “distinguished filmmakers, artists and executives who represent the best in our global film community, and who have made a lasting impact on movie fans everywhere.” (Cheryl Boone Isaacs, President of the Academy) David was the editor for four documentaries that have been nominated for Oscars, one of which won the short documentary Oscar in 2008, and for numerous documentaries that have won awards at Sundance and the Full Frame Film Festival, among many others. The opportunity to teach friends, clients, colleagues, and families how to better their health and well-being is something Laurie is very passionate about. They honeymooned in Tahiti and reside in New York City. 2000 | Ned Cohen was named Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team. Ned joins the team after serving as the Associate Vice President of Basketball Operations with the NBA. Since his arrival at the league office in 2004, he played a critical role in a number of areas, with a specific focus on competitive matters. Additionally, Cohen was a key part of the operations surrounding many of the league’s significant meetings and events, including the NBA All-Star Game, Competition Committee and Board of Governors meetings. With the Sixers, he will serve as the primary liaison for all interdepartmental planning, coordination and communication.
