Emily and Jane have launched Bond Technology, LLC which will develop apps. The first app they have developed is known as Queue. Queue allows bar goers to see the current occupancy of a bar, thereby allowing them to make informed choices, while simultaneously offering that information to bar owners, encouraging them to make strategic marketing decisions. Based on a platform that offers unprecedented, direct contact between bar goers and bar owners, Queue gives up-to- the-moment information on a bar’s occupancy to potential customers in the area. Because most customers are now used to live-tracking information on apps that range from ridesharing to pizza delivery, Queue allows patrons to plan their nights like never before. Queue also gives bar owners a way to have their bar become the hottest spot at that exact moment. With Queue, bar owners can send push notifications to customers who have favorited their bar to entice them to come in with well thought out specials. These specials can run either to a specific time or a specific occupancy. “This level of direct marketing is unprecedented in the bar industry,” says Emily Mosh, Bond’s co-founder and vice president. “You’re reaching out directly to your customers. You’re giving them a reason to come in at the exact moment you want.” Since many bars make the majority of their income between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, the ability to expand those heavy income- producing hours is extremely enticing. Newly developed app, Queue Jaleel Roberts signed a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA where he appeared in 5 preseason games.
