2017 Class Giving Competition We held our Alumni Giving Day, #1dayforGDS, on March 1st to help kick off our 5th annual class giving competition during the month of March. Coupled with the #KD43challenge (gifts made in honor of Mrs. Kathy Davis,) it was a great success and we want to thank everyone who participated. We received 302 alumni gifts in the 24 hour giving period alone! Congratulations to the Class of ’80 for winning this year’s Class Giving Competition with 56% of their class having made a gift by April 1, crushing 2nd place, who goes to the Class of ’04 with 35.14%. Overall, it was our most successful class giving competition with 416 alumni gifts made prior to April 1, up 23 from the previous year! We hope to continue this success in the coming years! As the magazine went to print, Alumni annual fund donors totaled 454, a new record!
