Abilene Ross, daughter of Ali Leonard Ross ’06 2007 Joanne Wong joined Ernst & Young Hong Kong in November 2016 in the role of Assistant Director (Manager, Asia Pacific – cross border travel support) from her previous role as international relocation and immigration specialist at AIReS (American International Relocation Solutions). In her new role, Joanne acts as a consultant who works closely with Ernst & Young’s internal clients on planning cross border engagements to ensure that tax and immigration implications are identified and properly managed / mitigated. She is based in Hong Kong. Adam Kritzer created a new group, The Plattsburgh (NY) Art Detectives, which teaches the arts to people of all ages with autism by helping to facilitate their inner artist. Adam launched the all-ages program last October to give people an opportunity to learn different skills in different art forms, including filmmaking and photography. “There are things to do during the day but very limited opportunities for these individuals to grow,” Kritzer said. Adam instructs around 20 autistic individuals ages 9 to 63 from the across North Country and Montreal drawing on previous experiences working with special needs populations. By offering these art lessons, the students who may struggle with attention deficiency or communicating with others can focus on drawing a picture to communicate with others. Jonathan “J.G.” McClure holds an MFA from the University of California – Irvine. His poetry and prose appear widely, including in Best New Poets, Gettysburg Review, Green Mountains Review, and The Pinch, among others. He is the author of the poetry collection The Fire Lit & Nearing (Indolent Books, Fall 2017) and is currently at work on a book-length translation project. His work has been nominate for awards and honors including the Pushcart Prize, Best American Essays, and Best of the Net, among others, and was a runner-up for an award from the Academy of American Poets. He is a book reviewer for several journals including Colorado Review and Rain Taxi, and the former Craft Essay Editor and Assistant Poetry Editor of Cleaver Magazine. A former instructor at UC-Irvine, Jonathan has taught a variety of courses in poetry and prose and edited literary magazines for four years. Jay Lewis and Jessica Johnson were married on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. The wedding party included Jamel Lewis ’11 and Brandon Dorsett ’10. They couple honeymooned in Panama and Costa Rica and reside in Raleigh, NC. Jonathan is in his second season in the MLS’ Chicago Fire. Fletcher Keeley alongside friend, Drew Huemmler, participated in The Audi Power of Four Ski Mountaineering Race in Aspen, Colorado on Saturday, February 25th. The race was 24 miles long with 10K vertical rise. He participated in the Elite Division. This race covers all four Aspen Snowmass mountains. Fletcher and Drew completed the race in 7 hours and 47 minutes. Fletcher currently works at Webshine, a digital marketing company in Basalt, Colorado. Fletcher also recently 68 | Summer 2017
